Higher Education Guidance Session

A Higher Education Guidance Awareness Class was successfully conducted at Marthandanthurai with the objective of guiding students and young aspirants toward informed academic and career decisions.

The session was led by John Majel, Gold Medalist and Ph.D. holder from Pondicherry University, widely recognized as a motivational speaker, civil services trainer, and educator. As the Founding Trustee of the SIMON Foundation and a faculty member at Shankar IAS Academy, he brought a blend of academic depth and practical insight to the session.

PNST Training and Test Program

A PNST (Pre-Nursing Selection Test) Training and Test Program was successfully conducted by St. Francis College of Nursing at Indore on 11 June 2025, with the aim of supporting nursing aspirants in their preparation for competitive entrance examinations.

The program focused on strengthening students’ understanding of key subject areas, familiarizing them with the PNST examination pattern, and enhancing their problem-solving and time-management skills. Participants were guided through structured training sessions followed by assessment-based testing to evaluate their preparedness.

TET Intensive Training Workshop

A TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) Coaching Class was successfully conducted by the SIMON Foundation at Chinathadurai School, with the objective of supporting aspiring teachers in their preparation for the Teacher Eligibility Test and strengthening their understanding of teaching competencies.

The session focused on providing structured guidance on examination patterns, syllabus coverage, and effective preparation strategies. Emphasis was placed on understanding core concepts, managing time efficiently during examinations, and approaching the TET with confidence and clarity

TET Coaching Program & Felicitation Ceremony

Over the past few years, the Simon Foundation has taken dedicated initiatives to support members of the Kanyakumari fishing community in clearing the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Through structured coaching and continuous academic guidance, these efforts resulted in 17 successful candidates, including 4 in Paper 1 and 13 in Paper 2, reflecting the Foundation’s strong commitment to educational progress.

In September, responding to requests from the Thoothoor region, special TET coaching classes were conducted at St. Jude’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chinnathurai. To ensure seriousness and regular attendance, a fee of ₹2000 was fixed, with the assurance that ₹1000 would be refunded to students who attended all classes. One student received this attendance-based refund.
It was also announced that students who passed the examination would receive a full refund of their fees.

During the Life Education Guidance Program at Erayumanthurai, three successful students were felicitated, and their full fees were refunded by Mr. Hubert Simon, President of the Simon Foundation.
